We were approached by Delta Separations (later Prospiant) to create a series of CGI explainer animations of several of their featured products for use on their website and social media. The five products focused on ethanol, solventless and CO2 extraction methods and included the Centrifuge Utility Platform (CUP-30), Falling Film Evaporator (FFE-60), Rolled Film Distillation (RFD-27), Vortex Trichome Separator, and The Force high output C02 extraction system.
Using the provided CAD data, we created custom animations and visual effects for each product that exhibited the core features of the process. As part of the production process, each CAD file was highly optimized for animation, textured and lit based on photo and video references. To ensure representing each animation accurately, we collaborated with the engineers and builders of the products throughout the process. In addition, we also built fully custom particle, smoke and fluid simulations for each animation unique to each product.
